Seat reservation

Access to BEM is free. However, if you wish to use a seat equipped with a power outlet, you must reserve it through the Affluences app, available on the Play Store, the App Store, or via its web portal.

How it works

• If you are a member of the University of Torino community or belong to a partner university (Politecnico di Torino, University of Eastern Piemonte, University of Valle d’Aosta, or University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo), please book using your institutional email address.
  External users should use their personal email address.

• Reservations are individual. During the booking process, you can choose the day, entry time, and duration of your stay. A map showing the seating layout is also available.

• Upon your first booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please confirm your reservation within 2 hours. Select “Remember me” to save your confirmation for future use.

• When you arrive at the library, confirm your presence by scanning the QR code displayed at the entrance or by speaking with a staff member. Check-in must be completed within 1 hour of your scheduled start time; otherwise, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

• Please occupy only the seat you reserved.

• If you need to cancel, click “Cancel my reservation” in your confirmation email so that another user can take your spot.

• If you wish to extend your stay, make a new reservation. If you need to leave earlier, click “End my reservation early.”
