Available Equipment

In the periodicals room, you will find:

• A desktop magnifier with document reading capability. To use it, you must reserve seat labeled “Ingranditore da tavolo,” via the Affluences app. Remember to bring your own headphones.
• A Braille keyboard
• Ergonomic mouse and trackball
• A Braille printer
• A portable scanner

The equipment listed under points 2, 3, and 5 can be borrowed free of charge for the duration of your stay in the library, upon leaving a valid ID at the desk.

Accessible Texts

For students with specific learning disorders (SLD), the University Library System, in collaboration with the Office for Students with Disabilities and SLD at the University of Torino, provides the SensusLibrary service, which supplies texts and documents in accessible formats.
