BEM preserves a number of personal and thematic book collections of particular significance and value. These include sixteenth-century editions, early printed books, rare and valuable editions, personal archives, as well as thematic collections that are unique in terms of both relevance and content.
The collections are accessible to all interested parties, under conditions that ensure their proper preservation. BEM also promotes digitization and valorization projects, with the aim of making this heritage increasingly accessible and visible to the academic community and the general public.
